After a very challenging 2019 season, but in which we had good results, we started our 2020 season with good and great challenges. We expect to reach programs of around 8,600 metric tons (MT) in raisins, 7,000 MT in walnuts, 5,750 MT in prunes and 1,300 MT in almonds.

Our own fields are of great help to achieve these programs, but without a doubt we could not do it without our growers, from whom we hope to receive very good quality fruit.

Our 4 processing facilities underwent extensive maintenance during the summer, so they are already 100% operational in order to ship our products around the world.

We are looking forward to starting this new year!!

Pacific Nut Participation in Gulfood 2020

During the days of February 16 to 20, the Gulf Fair (Gulfood) was held in Dubai. As usual, our stand was located in the INC pavilion.

During the fair we received the vast majority of our clients from India, Dubai, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, among others, in general the entire area of ​​the Middle East, in addition to our clients from Europe.

This fair is of great importance for our market since it represents the opening of the market especially for Walnuts with Shells and sets us a base for our seasonal walnut program.

With our regular customer base, we closed on the order of 50% of our Nut Shell program and set the market level for the next Nut Businesses for the 2020 season.

As always it is a very attractive and very busy fair, so we will continue to attend year after year always in the INC pavilion.

Temperature Control of all the people who enter our plants and office.

Daily individual health statement of every person who enters the plants or office regarding symptoms of Covid-19 and if they were in contact with someone who was infected.

Hand wash before entering the facilities.

Placement of alcohol gel dispensers at the entrance of the facilities and at various work points.

Distance all workstations more than a meter away, including dining rooms.

It was established that the designated administrative and office personnel are in telework mode, establishing face-to-face shifts in the office in order to reduce daily presence by 60%.

An emergency committee is held daily where new decisions are made in order to ensure the health of our workers and our operation.

Pacific Nut & Dried Fruits’s main objective is to produce fruit with high quality standards.

To achieve these standards we work with raw materials selected by our agricultural team and approved by the quality team.

During this season we are working to carry out BRC certification at Pacific Nut plants.

BRC (British Retail Consortium). This certification addresses issues of safety (that the product is safe for human consumption), quality (that meets the standards requested by customers) and legality (that meets the legal regulations of the markets).
